This is a flat-out appeal to make the next signing a success.

As I've said, it takes place at the Carnagecon gaming convention on Nov. 8, a week from today. My deal with WCFR allows me to run ads for worthy causes such as this, and my own starts today. If you know of any ways to get my ad onto related Web sites, and can do it quickly, send your e-mail address to stephen@seitzbooks.com and I'll pass it along for you. It's only 20 seconds, and if you can get it on the air somehow in the Upper Connecticut River Valley (other than WCFR and WNTK, where I'm in sold for the next week), I would be grateful. The ad would be especially useful near colleges and high schools in the Fairlee-Lebanon area.

As I mentioned, rising science fiction author Lisa Comstock will be joining me, so fans of swashbuckling space opera and their associated games are also a target audience.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

"Sherlock Holmes and the Plague of Dracula" has been favorably reviewed by distinguished Sherlockian Philip K. Jones and he was kind enough to share it with the Black River Tribune: http://blackrivertribune.com. It's on the Sherlock Holmes page, of course. Thanks, Phil!

Also, for those of you who will be in the Fairlee, Vermont area on Nov. 8, I will be signing my book, and this time around fellow author Lisa J. Comstock is joining me. Lisa is the author of the recently published science fiction "The BrimTier Chronicles, Book I," featuring Capt. Iain Bryce as an outer space Robin Hood. I'm reading it now; great fun so far.

Lisa and I will be signing at Carnagecon, which seems to be Game Central in this hemisphere: they've got role playing games, video games, board games, card games, you name it. It will be held the Nov. 8 weekend at the Lake Morey Resort: details at http://www.carnagecon.com

Any documentarians who might be visiting would certainly be welcome to come along and preserve some of this event for posterity and future publicity. Just a thought.
